An easy circular walk from the church to the old mill, crossing the Meon river and joining the Meon Valley Trail (a disused railway track) to Soberton, returning beside the river Meon.

Cycle Rides


23m Circular cycle route from St Mary Droxford to St Mary Portchester 


The route initially goes off road along the Meon Valley Trail to Wickham and then along country lanes to South Boarhunt and Portchester, returning via Southwick and Newtown.

The route goes up onto the South Downs to Leydene Park and Clanfield, over the A3(M) to Chalton and Buriton.  Return via Ramsdean, climbing up onto the South Downs once again before returning to Droxford via Chidden.

The route goes via West Harting to South Harting, followed by a steep climb up onto the South Downs to North Marden, returning via Finchdean, Compton and Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
